Oh, that's right, I thought this looked familiar. It's (v0.6) in my archives - I didn't think to look there.
I've been down this road before. In 2008 I downloaded and trialled it, but Texter hadn't been developed beyond v0.6 (and it still hasn't) and has basically been left behind as technology develops. I'd forgotten about it. I suggest you do too!

Nimbus Notes tries to be a real-time text synch, but it had problems when I tried it tonight.
Similarly, problems with CallSend.net
Kopy is in the same ball-park, Android, not yet IOS.

Just learned of QPush tonight, and it was very smooth setting up as a web page in the taskbar on Windows, and an easy-app on the iPad. It actually uses its own codes, so you do not set up a user account.

Pushbullet does more than that.  I have an extension, and I can do exactly what you're doing.




This is what I see in Chrome (Brave) with the extension.  The People tab is all of my pushbullet native contacts (you can communicate just using it), the Devices tab (the current tab) shows what device I have linked, and you can see a couple of the links that I've sent to my phone.  The SMS is all of my SMS from my phone, and I can send SMS with it and receive it.  The notifications tab has all of the notifications that I see on my phone (I can't react with them, i.e. when it gives me choices in the notification, I can't select one- that's a paid feature).

2. You will find it doesn't work on some/most software's Open file/folder, save as dialog after a reboot.
Personally I found two solution for it.
    a. You have to restart flashfolder service manually on each reboot.
    b. You can take ownership(full control) of the FlashFolder64.exe(namely c:\Program Files\FlashFolder\FlashFolder64.exe) for your current account/user. And you only need to do this for once.
        right click -- switch to security tab -- select user(yourself), you can figure it out with your email -- full control      done!

There are some other good stuff, but this time only for this one

Well I had a lot of work to do changing service and task passwords (including boxes with a hundred or more tasks) and was not looking forward to manual process or debugging powershells. But I located Service Credentials Manager from CJWDEV. I actually sprung for the Standard (paid) edition which I downloaded and it worked excellently.

Here is my (in-progress) list of lesser known software, which have and continue to help make my PC life easier:

01. Spaceman 99: My first choice for finding and deleting duplicate files, using different criteria, finding and removing empty folders, and checking how much space folders on my drives are taking up. It has an easy to use windows explorer like interface. Costs USD 20.00 for perpetual licence. I have mine since at least a decade.

02. Quick Access Popup: Found this gem of a Speed multi-purpose launcher and folder switcher just a couple of years back. Freeware for Windows, but also available as a donationware for pro features.
