Chameleonfolder looks like Chameleon Startup Manager??

A bull may find it difficult to scroll, with a cloven hoof and such. The manager and the ad hoc launcher are situated in each end of the same page.

But I am pleased that this debate has come up, as I am into replacing supplementing my FileBox eXtender. Thank you for feeding my imagination.

this kind of software is handy and useful, and i think a lot of people have interest in it. here is another bonus

FavMenu2 patched version (portable AHK)
it is original designed for TC(be aware of its voristotal rating), but this patched version (good rating)get more function.

2 panzer thank you for your list :)
ill try to explorer and test something idk in your list
one more thing i wanna make it clear(maybe you misunderstand you). what i mean "any application launcher always welcome"(sorry for my English). i refer to dock launcher. like rocketdock(but it is too famous) , circle dock, RK launcher.....personally i don't even use(i dont mean it is not a
good software) wox(famous right?)it is in my disk, because this kind of software is little difficult to use and actually i think i got a quicker and better solution.

RSSHub seems to me to be an online RSS newsfeed reader.

For those (like me) that want an application on their computer to do the same....RSSOwl. Freeware that comes as installer but also in portable format. It is based on the Eclipse IDE, so you'll need java. But there is also a portable version of Java available, which you use with RSSOwl. At least that is how I digest a thousand or so of RSS news entries each day.

chashnniel mentioned PowerPro - I want to add here that I've been using this program for years.  The authour still makes regular updates, and there is a yahoo group with great support.  I do most of my computer manipulation in Autohotkey, but Powerpro provides a very easy way to create toolbars to do anything.  It scripts alot like powerpro and you can do very advanced scripting with it.

My main use of it these days is to provide me with a completely configurable toolbar that sits on the top of my primary screen.  It has custom dropdown menus to run programs, launch system panels and do just about anything else.  I use it to run autohotkey scripts, too.

Powerpro is alot like autohotkey except that it has it's own guis.  I used to use it a lot more, but now I prefer authotkey for most things.  Still, it is unbeatable for it's custom toolbars.

maybe I'm nitpicking, but if anyones adding to the list can they please add something more than just a name + link.

In a lot of cases the name is a clue as to what the program does, but I'm probably not alone in being wary of clicking on an unqualified link to find out whats on the end of it

Not suggesting for a minute that anyone here would consciously do anything risky, but still...

It's not even just the risk, but the time taken to even find out what something is.  A lot of it isn't self-evident, so I find myself skipping over things without a description.

if you have interest in custom toolbars, you should try my recommendation Quick Macro(free trail  ;)).
I'm not a PowerPro advanced user, and i have a lot of wonderful AHK scripts, but sometimes i find QM is really useful and powerful. It can handle almost everything!!!

quick macro demo
(this is a really really short tutorial)
1. paint
tens of steps to one
2. media player
mysql, database, ftp sever, HTML, foldermenu, mouse record, windows API, dialog, script.......much much much more actually everything!
thanks for Gintaras's free license code!!!

of course a short description always should be added in ur list :)

Agreed, even a hint on what the program does would be nice. Image viewer, Programming tool, Macro/automation - something for a category.

I specially liked Clippy's ability to group operations togther into a single one, triggered by one click.

Truth to tell, both Text Monkey and Clippy are probably of less value than formerly, now good clipboard managers such as ArsClip and Mouser's own Clipboard Help+Spell that you run anyway have a lot of this functionality built-in, albeit not necessarily available as smoothly.

ungoogled-chromium is Google Chromium, sans integration with Google. It also features some tweaks to enhance privacy, control, and transparency (almost all of which require manual activation or enabling):
