Can't believe someone is still using this thing. Time to make an updated version! Stay tuned ~

@mouser thanks for the heds up!

@Gurg, I have updated the download link. Turns out I had lost control of that domain a while ago! :/

Just leaving this here. I just need to implement drag-and-drop and globbing.

This'll run as-is on Windows, OSX and Linux.

5
App pulled me here.

I think I'll keep the "anti-piracy / anti-crack guy with this weird polar bear fetish" tagline.

I'm still alive and kicking. Haven't had time to be on any forums lately, but I popped up on IRC the other day. I'll spend sunday reading DoCo and seeing what it's up to.

nice work, scancode! giving it a try now..

Just found out it's not working on first boot but it's working on the lockscreen (Win8.1u1 x64)  -- can you confirm if it's loading on boot for you?

Thanks!

Nevermind, I was running an extremely old build for some strange reason.
Also, got rid of Gumroad for downloads, it's now set up for donations only.
There's a direct download link now in its place.

I wrote a small utility that lets you set up different wallpapers on each screen for the logon screen.

You can download it here: Multi-monitor Logon Wallpaper and you can browse the source code or report a bug/feature request.

PS: you can enter 0 in the price field, in case you haven't noticed.

Count me in!

After a loooooong hiatus (life's a b*tch) I finally got settled down enough that I get to participate on a forum on a regular basis. I missed you guys.

Is the IRC channel still active? I have to drop as soon as I get my ISP to unblock the port.

It's much more likely that it stores the registration in the HKLM hive of the registry, where, for most locations, Admin access is required to be able to write.

Likely - yes, true - no :-) When I activated it I had the installation folder open in TC and noticed in the corner of my eye that a file was updated there at that very moment. Seeing as most other apps handle registration without needing admin rights, I wonder if it's worth the additional support work this must bring in.

***** C:\PDFZILLA\sound.dll
   36:  czzverrhzzcv56757
   37:  asdfasdfasdfaswkk
***** C:\PDFZILLA\SOUND.DLL_
   36:  czzverrhzzcv56757
   37:  asdfasdfasdfasw21
*****

So i'm guessing backing up SOUND.DLL (which is NOT a DLL file) should back up your registration too.

I hated how my secondary screen turns black when on the logon screen, and I found I was not the only one.

I found a not-so-hacky way of doing it, and it definitely does the trick.

The question is... Is it worth turning it into an application (I'd need to make separate x64 and x32 versions)?

    « on: July 08, 2011, 08:31 AM »
I have an ELO 1715L (IntelliTouch) at work, and a convertible netbook (NL1).
Both have resistive touchscreens, and to be honest, I'm using either a mouse or a graphics tablet 99.9% of the time.
Yes, touchscreens are fun... for the first 3 minutes. Then the novelty wears off.

    14
Sorry for the SUPER necro, but I had problems getting it to run on a multimonitor setup too.

The code for multimon *was* on the AHK, but wasn't being used...

I've attached the fixed ahk and exe files.

...I've always wanted to be punished by a software application! :'(

Yeah? Try installing and using iTunes on a Windows PC then. That should do ya! :P

Besides weighing a ton and being a little slow, iTunes has worked for me...
(I only use it to restore iPhones, tho)

    Current Features:

    • No more Softwrap!

I love how it is the FIRST listed feature :3

It creates the folders under the directory it's being run from.

I have the lowest-end BlackBerry (8520), and I got hooked into SocialScope (Social Networking app: Facebook, foursquare, Twitter, Flickr and god knows what else).  The other app I use pretty often is "Wi-Fi Proxy +FTP/HTTP Servers" which does pretty much what it says on the tin.

Welcome to crackberries, don't get too addicted :P

and that tracking software will remain On their machine even if they later "uninstall" it.

Tracking software? I thought all OC left was a DLL in the temp directory...

WinZip did the same thing. It's not uncommon for "free" promises to be shattered by the harsh reality of business.

WinZip was born shareware. You had a WinRar-like trial period (ie, your app expired, but you can still use it). You always knew you had to pay for WinZip.

    21
Well, if they promised it would remain free, then it's only fair to reflect reflector to reflect the timebomb

Have you tried it? It's quite obfuscated :/

    22
Why couldn't they just remove the timebomb and start charging for v7+?

    23
As many of you know, our original intention was to maintain .NET Reflector as a free tool. But, after two-and-a-half years of providing it without charge, we realized that we could not make the free model work. We know that this will cause pain for some people in the .NET community, and we apologize for the change in policy.

Basically, .NET reflector 7 will become payware, $35. There's a catch, tho. When that version is released, the freeware version will stop working!

A free version will be available for download until the release of Version 7, scheduled for early March. The free version will continue working until May 30, 2011.

They're giving users a forum to bitch in give them their opininion, but there are complaints about deleted comments.

We lost a great tool. *sigh*

Finished Programs / Pin RocketDock to Desktop

    PinRocketDock
pins rocketdock to desktop so it doesn't get hidden when you press Win+D

    pinrd.PNG

Installation instructions: copy to any folder, run it. You might want to add a shortcut to startup. This application waits for the RocketDock window to be created, then quits. This app doesn't run constantly in the background.
Make sure rocketdock's layering is set to NORMAL
