Killing app the way Alfred can in OSX

I use Listary 5 and would kill some kind of a solution to kill programs easily and quickly based on process name.  Does anyone know of a program that could do the same?
Alfred on OSX does it best by using an extension. I type in kill <process name>

If you mean on Windows, try "taskkill /f /im program.exe". Of course there are other options like by pid too, and the program name does not need to be completely spelled out.

I think he's after something like, for example, a FARR plugin for killing processes.

You'd type in kill xyz and a list of processes containing the string xyz, (the list updating as more characters were entered), would be listed which then can be terminated by selecting.

Perhaps a FARR plugin would be the easiest way to do it?

In 99% of the cases, I know what process I want to kill by name -- I just have to search for it. I've assigned process hacker a keyboard shortcut but I would really love to speed this process up.  Alfred does this beautifully with a custom workflow. "kill <process name>" and it finds the process name and kills it for you.

I'll give FARR a shot for this purpose, but I replaced FARR with listary due to various reasons (I still love FARR and you mouser!!!)

(other tools often have access violations, this one has its own hook to really get access to everything)

ps: take care what you do, in hook mode you can kill everything up to a windows blue screen of death!
pps: you are not limited to kill processes, you can also kill services etc.... again, take care!

Actually, it looks pretty good ... might have to move FARR aside for a little testing
