very soon.. ive been up to my eyeballs coding android apps for NANY 2017 but i'm ready to take a break and work on SC and my other windows apps now.

Mouser, would you please consider adding support for high-res monitors in your next version? I bought a gorgeous 4K monitor, installed Windows 10, and some of the text and border icons are so tiny I need a magnifying glass to read them. Running in "compatibility mode" does not seem to help.

Thank you very much for the consideration. There's other screenshot programs out there, but yours has always been all I need and more. :-)

Tried to attach a screenshot of Screenshot Captor but apparently can't run more than one copy at a time.

People are asking for this more and more and it's clear I have to make SC look better for those on 4k monitors.. I have started work on it.

This is true, but SC does have a function to take a screenshot of itself.

Ok I am making some progress on improving SC for use on high-dpi monitors; options look a lot more readable as does text.
Need to do a little more tweaking though for some oddities, and need to scale up the button images.

Hey everybody, mouser's human after all!!

Since I'm here... I've foolishly volunteered to put together a presentation that will cover the whole process that resulted in me writing an autohotkey program to plug a few gaps in a bit of commercial software our maternity department uses. ("Foolishly" because my default attitude is to spend as much time as I can working behind the scenes rather than standing up and making a public spectacle of myself. What can I say? I'm British and introverted.)

Er, anyway, so this presentation's going to happen in a lecture theatre (aaargh) and I'm playing with the concept of making a screencast to do most of the work, so I can just do the Q&As and handovers to the other people who had a hand in it.

I have EasyScreenCastRecorder and ScreenshotCaptor and a microphone and, because I enjoy procrastination too and I have until early May, I'm wondering how (or if!) to make ESCR and SC work together and, if I do, if I can mix stills into my screencast (so I can put up screens that I might want to blur bits of) or if I should bite the bullet and learn something completely new.

Any suggestions or advice welcome. I'm currently considering emigrating in order to avoid the whole problem...

After a quick look on 3000x2000 things now look as they should

. Using that monocle has been a drag.

FHD 15.6" screen; fonts @125%
(that's not especially high resolution, but SC options dialogue had not adjusted to the 125%)

which was too small for my eyes...

Options text a lot bigger -- fine for me, still a little smaller than the couple of other apps I looked at.
Tooltips are a good size.
