3000 Days Online: 30th May 2013
« on: February 17, 2013, 01:07 PM »
Hey guys,

We are getting really close to the 3000 day mark for the DonationCoder.com forum!

What this converts to, is an amazing 8.2 years! - Yes...OVER 8 YEARS...

For something based on what was then, a very big idea, with a very small community, it is amazing to think, that DonationCoder.com has got to where it has!

DC has a HUGE reputation within the FOSS/Donationware circles, and software published here, has been highlighted in some prestigious tech magazines *(See here for example)*

Now, the main point of my post is, I want help figuring out how to help mouser celebrate this landmark!

So, who has some ideas?!

102 DAYS TO GO!*

Holy yowsers... An animated GIF in a screenshot... Only 2 options there - snag the simple rendered page with the GIF at wherever it is, or make the entire screenshot animated - fugly at best. But I was suprised to hear that Snagit monkeyed it up.

So, who has some ideas?!

Shall we take cues from Pinky & The Brain? World Domination sound good to anyone? ;D

Of course, theoretical physics tells us there may be an infinity of universes. May I suggest that after we take this universe no later than next Tuesday, that we plan to find and conquer another universe weekly from that point forward?

I sincerely hope and believe that by then we will have the new DC2 cms in place and replacing all of the static web pages on the site and have some new interesting things to celebrate.

you mean rebooting the server for updates, doesn't count as an offline day?
