Thought it would be nice to have a G-rated thread for animal videos.. Just saw this one today and it has to be my favorite in months.

Sorry, but Dubstep cat borders - ??? - upon cruelty. And the cat obviously does not enjoy - the ears kinda give that away. Irresponsible owner, in my opinion.

I consider myself very sensitive to possibilities of animal cruelty, and as a cat owner i would never post anything that i felt was cruelty to a cat or any other animal.

Reasonable people could disagree, but from my decades of experience having cats as pets, this is not a cat in distress. I wouldn't say he's "enjoying" it, but he doesn't seem very bothered by it if you ask me.

There are some cats that do NOT like to be manipulated or picked up or held, and they will not stand for it and will resist it every step of the way. And then there are other cats who don't seem to mind being cuddled and manipulated and moved around. Looks like we have a category two exemplar right here.

Wasn't attacking you, mouser, just the video. Thirteen (13) cats over the years (fourteen (14) if you count babysitting Baby Daughter's mischief maker from time to time), so I have somewhat of experience with them. Some were very cuddly, some not so much, some totally hands off. But I saw - or thought I did - that cat's ears flatten twice. I like a good cat video as much as the next guy, perhaps more so because of past experience(s), but that video pretty much left me cold. Call it a matter of personal preference, I guess.

I agree. Making a cat listen to dubstep is clearly animal cruelty. The ears totally give it away. Kitty is not a fan of dubstep.

Nah, it's systemic - kitty was abused as a kitten. So if you leave a suitcase open he pees in it!

I was watching news footage on the UK and US plans for war with Syria, and somehow that ended up in the right column of related videos. I'm still trying to figure out how bombing Syria is related to cat videos... Maybe they are evil geniuses plotting to take over Earth after all...
