new forum feature - spoiler tag
« on: March 14, 2006, 03:03 AM »
you can hide text to display only when reader clicks a button,
just enclose the text between

or

useful when providing hints or answering riddles to avoid people reading the answer by accident.

Any chance of removing the "click to reveal/hide" prompt altogether when a button text is specified ?

WOW
Now that is what I call prompt!!!

Question?
How does the spoiler tag affect the forum search? I presume it can 'read between the tags' but it isn't going to be so obvious when you scan a thread! How about a profile option to autoexpand spoilers (for those who will hate this) which can also be set and unset from the search box?

it will search within spoiler tags.

not a bad idea to have an option to auto expan all - i'll look into it.
right now im working on the micro donation thing which is taking some real effort.

Hmmm.  Gives the lie to this, then  ;)

How many C programmers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Spoiler
Only one.  But nobody else can ever change it again afterwards...

Sorry rjbull, you are really wrong with this.

You need ZERO C-programmers to change a lightbulb.
Why?
It is DEFINITELY a HARDWARE-Problem!
