New Apps for the New Year Challenge
We have officially plowed our way into the New Year, and it's time that we all should focus on working even more efficiently. To help us get that done Donation Coder has started the N.A.N.Y. (New Apps for the New Year) Challenge to present new applications to save you time. All of the available programs (totaling 24 right now) have simple concepts but for some of us they will conquer big tasks.. I'm sure you'll find one or more of those programs to be useful. I think my favorite is TPClock just because it confuses so many people...including myself from time to time (literally).

The Dice Tower - Top 100 Board Games Ranked with Video Reviews

Screenshot - 3_31_2009 , 7_43_43 PM_thumb.png
Today i once again got sucked into the black hole of time dilation while learning about and reading reviews on board games.  I don't even really enjoy playing games much but these damn reviews and learning about all the wonderful creativity and variety in these games is addictive..

But any, the main point of this post is to tell you about this one wonderful video review site called The Dice Tower, and the top 100 ranked list of board games with accompanying video reviews.  The guy who runs the site, Tom Vasel, has a cute daughter who normally sits with him as he does the reviews, and he does a great job of telling you why he likes the games.  And his taste in games is a good match for me -- he doesn't go for the super complex games, and he is always looking for fun stuff, regardless of the genre.  Great work Tom.

Listen, please.  Stop reading this post if you value your time in any way, because i've gotten sucked into these video reviews as well as the boardgamegeeks website which i have written about in the past.
