i don't know how many times i've set capslock on... and ENDED UP TYPING IN CAPS LATER, WHEN I DON'T WANT TO.

it would be nice for it to turn itself off...

Nice idea!
I use it in photoshop to change the cursor to crosshairs for certain functions & of course forget ALL about it - as a typist who still has to look more or less constantly at the keyboard, I get caught pretty badly sometimes...

This would make a nice addition to one of Skrommel's little tools, either CAPshift or ShiftOff.

 :) Try CAPshift v1.7!

- 2007.04.17 - v1.7: Added automatic CapsLock off when idle for x seconds.

Remember to delete your existing CAPshift.ini before running!

Hello,

I went to the link for CAPshift, downloaded it and when I tried to run it I got the error 'not a valid win32 applicaton'.

Can I use this with Windows XP?  :(

that error often occurs when a download did not complete -- maybe try redownloading (and maybe with a different web browser)?
