Cody the 3d model

I quickly put together a 3d model of Cody in blender in case anyone wants to use it in a game or movie or whatever :)

What the model actually looks like

Here's the model:

that's nice Gothi[c], but if you are inclined to do it again, i'll send you the model sheet to work from - officially approved by mouser  :)

you should then be able to get a 'standard' looking cody in 3D.

That'd be cool, nudone :)
I actually modeled this one from side view from one of your Cody images, off course, not having a front or top view leaves the extra dimension open for interpretation. Also I didn't quite fork out the time to give him a texture so no wings just yet :)

Cool, but isn't cody a bit thin? I'd have expected him to be a bit rounder, in the huggy-friendly kind of way, not implying he's fat :)

You are right, f0dder, he IS too thin in this model, from the model sheet nudone sent me it is clear that this version needs to eat allot more coins. I'll be making a new, more accurate version as my next 'modeling-snack' in between coding the game engine. (Sometimes I'm not quite awake enough to code but modeling still works ok :P). I'll also be adding bones/armatures for easy animation and all that.

hahahaha  ;D

this seems to me like it might shed light on the origin of the universe, and reminds me of the line in the movie 2001: "My god, it's full of coins.."  at least i think that's how the quote goes  ;)

excellent.

i like the retro look to it - like when you first saw 3d animations back in the early 80's and thought "oh my god, that is incredible - it almost looks real".

Is there a way to import that Blender file into Cinema 4D?

You can probably export it as .3ds or some other common format, which I think Cinema 4D should be able to import. But I think you'll only get the mesh, not the bones and rigging for animation. And probably not the texture and vertex groups either.
