Is indexing of files and folders planned as future feature?

Indexing is planned -- as an option (it will never be a mandatory part of FARR, as many people like FARR specifically because it does not used indexed search).  I just have to get off my ass and interface to an existing indexing engine.

Indexing will be important feature, because FARR is still slow when it have to search among thousands of files and folders.

I guess it really depends on use case.  I only use FARR to search my links, i.e. my start menu and my true launch bar.  So definitely make it optional, as indexing a small set would be a waste.

+1 lack of indexing prevents me from being able to use FARR as I need to keep drives that should stay a sleep 90+% of the time in the list, but I only need to find results from them a couple times a week.

Without indexing FARR needlessly wakes up my sleeping drives with every search.
