multiple desktops

I'm considering multple desktops but it may be more trouble than it's worth.
I have seen this:

I have two screens with 2 desktops.  I don't use the other desktop.  I usally forget about it....

I've been using virtual desktops for years, find them quite handy.

Recently stumbled across Virtual Dimension, freeware, works better
than what I was using so I switched.  Been a few weeks, no problems.
