skwire questions

1 Regarding Kimmel, you said it looks like the episodes are there but anything above episode #100 are displayed/sorted improperly (this is a bug).  Basically, they get display with a leading zero in the episode number like this: s01e0105   Because of this, they get sorted at the top of a season listing.  I'll see if I can find some time to fix this

ok great I will wait for your responds when their a fix

2  Jimmy kimmel live and The late late Show with James Corden I think  no new episodes since 2016-08-04. I think to  Perhaps he's been off the air the last few weeks because of the Olympics? when their new episiodes it will appear in both weekly and Monthly ?

First, you have to understand that TheTVDB.com data comes from users of that site (sort of like Wikipedia).  So, once new data gets added to the TheTVDB.com website, yes, it will show up in all of epCheck's views.

Keep in mind that, even without a fix, future shows should still show up in the weekly and monthly views.

2 In epCheck is their a rest button for colors and font if you change em do you have a reset for this if you do where is it ?

Do the following to reset the colors:

  • Close epCheck.
  • Navigate to epCheck's folder and open the config.ini file in Notepad.
  • Delete the lines starting with ColorToday, ColorTomorrow, and ColorYesterday.
  • Save the file and restart epCheck.

Fonts have a reset button in the options you can click.

Yes, I see the new shows in epCheck.  If you don't, please run a data update using the Options tab > TV data > Refresh all series data now button.  You might have to restart epCheck after doing this.

*shrug*  I've no idea.  You can try signing up on TheTVDB.com and poking around in their forums to see if you can figure out who to contact or if you can even fix it yourself.  In regards to showtimes, keep in mind that epCheck will only ever show what TheTVDB.com has listed.  What I mean is that I will not be adding any sort of time zone adjustment to the listed times in epCheck.  I'm pretty certain that TheTVDB.com assumes all times are EST.  As I mentioned previously, if you're trying to use epCheck as a program guide, you'd probably be better off finding an actual EPG (Electronic Program Guide) application to use instead.

I just thought you might like to know that this handy little utility seems to be running just fine on Linux.  :)

Here's the setup I used to test it:
Ubuntu 16.04 x64
wine-devel 1.9.17
winetricks for vcrun2013 and vcrun2015

I can pull debugs from the CLI if you're interested...

Yes, to reset the colours for the Past/Today/Future colour options, perform those steps.

I answered your question here: https://www.donation....msg401988#msg401988

The latest version on my website is 1.1.5.1 (v1.1.5 build 1).  You have the 1.1.5.166 beta (v1.1.5 build 166).  You have the latest available version of epCheck.

1) The latest version available on my website is v1.1.5.1.
2) The latest beta is 1.1.5.166, available only here on the forums.
3) Both versions will work with the config.ini colour reset procedure.

Use whichever version you want.  Again, there are two versions you can use right now.  The v1.1.5.1 release, available on my website or the v1.1.5.166 beta available here on the forums.  The v1.1.5.166 beta has the revamped Options section and the Monthly view.  If you like those features, stay with v1.1.5.166 beta.
