Last time I fired up a calculator it worked out that $4.99 was a fair bit less than 50% off $6.99, (ie. 29%) - even the page you link to shows it as $4.99 in the Store, don't know where they get the $2.99 from.

A recent hailstorm in Fort Collins, Colorado wreaked havoc as seen in this unbelievable photo of a baseball-sized hailstone crashing into the sunroof of a car. The shattered tempered glass was kept in place by the laminate and the sunroof now looks like a giant drip.

That too, there's very little of these things that will last through an Australian Summer, not even most dashcams if they have a battery in them.
