I wonder if all of these originated in the States:
unfortunately they often dont give info about the origins of the phrases.

Growing up in Ireland in the 70s and 80s, I would have known (or gotten to know at least by the 90s) the following ones:

‘Quitting Cold Turkey’
‘Take a Raincheck’ -- think I only got to know this one in the later 80s
‘Spill the Beans’
‘Riding Shotgun’ -- the origin of this unfortunately not properly explained: I know the term well, not sure when it reached .ie
‘Piece of Cake’
‘More Bang for Your Buck’
‘Let’s Go Dutch’
‘Jump on the Bandwagon’
‘Jonesing’ (1990's for me)
‘For the Birds’
‘Flake’ (late 80s to 90s for me)
