I've never been a huge fan of Linus and especially his attitude when giving talks, but you have to appreciate someone who isn't afraid to speak his mind.

He makes a lot excuses for being a jerk, though. Critical honesty is one thing, but he has no filter toward other programmers.

Mainly because NVIDIA refuses to provide proper open-source drivers for their high end GPUs, a limitation that is absolutely crippling adoption of Linux for gaming applications.

Rather interesting article actually.

  Yeah, that's sad too.  I've always used nVidia based cards since I came to the PC.  I plan on going to Linux in the next couple of years, so I'll probably wind up having to buy another GPU...
