important to get your priorities straight -- obviously you should first buy the computer module with steering wheel mounted lcd, dvd player, and wireless internet.

17 years old! that's good going. it must feel like a world of difference to get a new set of wheels. though, i imagine the old one may still feel more comfy at the moment.

are there any noticeable improvements with the new one?

I'll have to ask about that model!  ;D

Yep took some tweaking to 'fit' my body and needs and Mum has been making new Cushion for back and arm rests! Many improvements especially much more stable for all my necessary wriggling! Seat broke twice on old one - lucky I didn't break my neck... :o And this one has battery meter, and works in 'Stealth' mode so Mum can't hear me coming. It also has a 'mind your toes' reverse beep!  ;)

Thanks for all your comments DC....

seat breaking :o how do they get away with making untested products.

sounds good now though - i like the talking reverse mode. people will expect a big truck reversing towards them. that'll surprise them. heheh.

Mums can be devilishly clever: take care that yours doesn't cross-wire those functions and catch you out when next you try to sneak!

Looks like all that's missing is an afterburner flaming out the back like the '60s Bat-Mobile! :)

Actually, the seat I needed was a little too heavy for my old model so they had to reinforce it after the break! That was one of the main reasons for a new scooter - more stable and stronger....
