Yeah, I think that's because his "beak" is really a crocodile mouth. I'm not sure if the monkey sounds are Cody or background noises like the cricket chirps.

(i wonder if it might be a prehistoric ancestor to cody - a missing link maybe, when dinosaurs were becoming birds; hence the crocodile like jaws.)

I was thinking of having a go, but be warned, it is a huge download to get the creation program.
I gave up when I saw the size (can't remember the exact size, but if you have to ask, you won't want it)

And to think God did it even better without Spore

in case people overlooked this post by p3lb0x i thought i should emphasize it:

If you post your creatures with a pic like Mizraim you can actually use the pic to open the creature in the editor, Just by dragging it into the window while having the build screen open.

in other words, the attached PNG files contain extra data that describe the creature so you can open and modify the creature in the program just by dragging and dropping the png file attached to the forum post.

mouser, I think it was just some random hex. Or maybe a serial number for an entirely different product, something physical, like a monitor or printer.

Phil usually isn't too kind to spammers and I thought this was a similar act of returning unwanted, rude behavior with equal (perhaps justified) rudeness as a way of saying "Go away! We don't want your kind here!"

In other words, I'm pretty sure Phil knows we don't advocate giving out registration codes and just gave doomandrei a serial number off of some other product. Giving him what he asked for (a serial number), but not really want he wanted (a serial number for the Spore Creature Creator program).

(on the other hand might i just suggest that we politely explain to people that we just dont do such things rather than trying to play tricks on them -- i think that's more likely to result in a constructive event).

Now that I now how to rotate the beak, I've fixed up my Cody creation a bit and shot some new videos of him dancing around and striking all the poses.
