DonationCoder's Massive Annual Best Of the Web 2007 is Now Online

It's a new year so you know what that means, right?

It means it's time for the second annual "Best of the Web" retrospective roundup!

Over 46,000 posts were made on the forum in 2007, and from those posts a collection of some of the most entertaining discoveries and debates have been featured in our 2007 edition.

It's an impossible task to select just a small number of sites and essays to feature, so a lot of great ones were bound to be overlooked.  Please share your views about any particularly glaring omissions.

basically we went through all the items that were blogged on dc in the last year (so the blog was the first filter), and then just tried to select a representative subset of the best, with a strong emphasis on small new sites.  not very scientific.

i'd second that.. maybe this time, the selection should be done on a monthly basis.. then a subset of blogs would readily be available at the end of the year..
