Hi Mouser,
Thanks for the confidence in me that you show. I just now am going through the DC Newsletter. It's just great for folks like me who really don't have time to participate often, but want to keep up with the going's on here.

ps. we will be having a discount on one of my alltime favorite programs (
website watcher
) in march, which is absolutely ideal for monitoring sites for changes.

Hi again Mouser,
Here's one of those amazing coincidences that happen to me way too often. I was just putting together a review of website watching services. The one you mention is payware. Got any freeware ones?
Here's a
good review
of the free web based services.
Best wishes,
Clif

Oh, we're off topic for this thread. Feel free to start a new one and send me the link.

Let me post this reply here and then split off this off-topic section of the thread.

It's in need of an update so you can expect that some of the programs there have improved; i've not seen anything to change my mind about the best though, and i don't think the free tools are anywhere near the quality of the commercial ones (this isn't the case in all categories of software but it just seems to be the case for this type of tool for some reason).
