can't remember where i came across it but i remember watching it a couple or so weeks ago.
like you say, special effects are first class - but then they should be as they were done by industry professionals.
i had to keep fast forwarding it as the novelty factor lasts about 10 minutes. with the amount of time and talent that went into making this thing i would have expected a better plot and better performances. can't really comment on the direction as most of what i saw was in fast forward mode.
best thing i can say about it is that it shows what can be done. i'm sure the next major effort (or the one after that) will be of a higher overall standard. this one was just the trial run - i hope.
