I just want to reitterate something:
Unlike most forums, we actually companies and authors to post info/announcements about their software on our forum.
However, we do have a few requirements for such posts:
- Such posts need to be made in this section of the forum: https://www.donation...ndex.php?board=172.0
- If you post there, it will be assumed that you have a relationship with the company you are posting about. If you ever make a post in another section praising some company or software and you have some relationship with the company (especially financial) then you MUST make this relationship clear. (If you are posting a complaint about some software and have a relationship with a competitor you also need to make this clear).
We understand that authors have opinions too - and personally i think the general rule most forums have that prevent people from talking about their own software is silly.
BUT we take VERY seriously the obligation of disclosure - you absolutely must disclose when you have a relationship with a company or product when you post about it.
