I don't think I read this properly
« on: June 24, 2006, 09:07 PM »
ohmygawd here he comes drama king again

Well, actually the story is very funny.

Ok, so what's the big deal about it?

In my current condition ("fresh" from the party :beerchug: :drinksmiley:) this story here is just too unbelivable!

Do things like these really happen? Is that blog entry really funny or am I imagining1 things (again)?

If it's true, this world has just become a little bit weirder

1How do I spell that word?

Things like this do really happen.  We have a cell phone for our son and the first couple of months he had it he call calls from the bank, the old users mom, andsome old lady who kept calling.l

I thought there was  a 1 year cool off period for regular phone #'s,  I guess it doesn't exists for cell phones....

 ;D ;D ;D Yeah, it's a bit sad when that happens!
That also happens here, my home number was always getting calls that were supposed to go to a local school, and the best part is that my number isn't even on the listings, as it is confidential!

In my house I get lots of calls of people asking for containers and others making concrete orders. Our telephone number is very similar to both used by two enterprises, and people always fail dialing the right number once in a while. The funny thing is that we've lived in this house for 20 years now, and every week we receive one or two calls of those ;D

this is opportunity knocking at your door..
next time you get such a call, ask them how many they need and quote them a reasonable price.
then go around your house and try to find some "containers" for them (boxes, old takeout food containers that can be washed off, etc.).  now make yourself a nice handsome profit!

Or act as a broker to the businesses. Resell their stuff on the sly with a tidy little markup. :D

All right!

The world is a weird place... Those things never happen to me; I only always get "super friendly" customer support when I want something I paid money for, but that is another story.

I also get lot of calls from companies that want to sell me lottery tickets and other dubious "deals". But I don't answer the phone if I don't see the callerID. So far, I don't seem to have missed any important calls.

Well... I used to get these calls, cannot say I still "get" them since I no longer answer... too weird, too pAraN0iD?
