Changing the path to save screenshots

Changing the path to save screenshots

I have to change the path from preferences- Saving and loading files- Screenshot Folder

Now : O:\PANTALLAZOS\2014\09.2014

I have necessarily to browse to the target folder to change, instead of change 09 by 10 in the next month
The program accepts the change, the apply option and accept. But by this method the folder really don't change.

Why ?
Is faster to change the two digits than browse again to select the target folder.

Best Regards

You should be able to edit it in that box and have it take effect,  as long as the folder exists.

FWIW, changing the folder by changing the path works here

EDIT// I think it doesnt like the "." in the foldername

The point is established by the format month.year

09.2014

It's not possible to SC be able to accept the point ¿?

SC is definitely not thrilled with dots in filenames.  Can you confirm that is the problem?

I know that in theory a "." in a file or foldername *should* be fine, I never use them though & I know I'm not alone. You're going to run into problems somewhere, eventually.

I tried (one time) with the same foldernames as Contro used (09.2014 & 10.2014) and it didnt work. Browsing to the folder was fine, but as he said, changing the folder path from one to the other didnt work. (In Win8.1 x64; it worked fine with 'normal' folder names.)

Let me see if i can make SC behave better with regards to dots in filenames/paths.
