How to auto-save just captured pciture?
« on: February 22, 2014, 04:14 AM »
How do I tell SC to automatically save the just captured Snapshot?

Currently always a popup appears asking me what to do.

At the very bottom of that "post-capture" dialog that is asking you what to do is a drop-down box where you can tell SC to stay minimized after capturing instead of showing you that dialog.  Choose that and all captures will be saved automatically without showing that dialog.  That's what mine is set to.

Ok, thank you.

And how can I re-enable this editor window later again?

Wouldn't it be better to offer this option in Preferences dialogs?

I'm not sure if that's in Preferences - I would presume it's in there somewhere, but I access it either:

  • right-click tray icon > After Capture show > [choices]
    or
  • via the Quick Capture bar which is enabled by default AFAIK (auto-hiding toolbar top of screen)
the button to the left of the Settings (Tooltip: "Select post-capture options & actions")

Ok. Thank you.

But could this option be included in Preferences dialog as well?
