New Hardware Forum Starting Up
« on: May 17, 2006, 11:17 AM »
Good day to all,

First off I'd like the say this is NOT spam!

I am an old friend of Mouser and having spoken to him I've been given permission to post this here, so please do not disregard it!

I'm starting a new community forum, mainly based on hardware discussion and troubleshooting, (although it will contain some software sections for all you programmers, too 8)).

We need your help to find members and get the forum off the ground!

It'd be extremely appreciated if you could register and maybe participate in or create a discussion, and help us build a new strong community!

Any suggestions or critizisms are welcome.

Please help us get started and join up @ www.hardwareforums.eu

Thanks to all,

Mo-oZ.

How about starting a "webring" sort of thing with DonationCoder - so that both sites have links on their forum/web pages to the others in the ring. OK it is only two sites at the moment so it can hardly be called a ring but it would be a start ...

i know there are some awfully big good hardware forums around, so you are going to have your work cut out for you building a new one - but i wish you luck!

He means something that makes you different than all the others, something unique about yours and makes you stand out.

Cheers mouser for changing the title, seems like I get more veiws now.

Ah Thanks Tekzel, I figured out what he meant after my last post.

Hmm, I'm not sure what can be done for a new take on it, I just really want to make a cool hardware site with a large active community, I guess it is a good way to keep up-to date with hardware advances.

Has anyone got any unique ideas we could add to the site? i'd love to hear them :).

Oh, thanks ziridling :) Please join up and participate.
