It's an interesting roundup since it's not really about docking bars, but about ways to organize your icons and show files. LBC is on the list presumably because it has some features for flexibly listing folder contents.
More interesting is to think about the drawbacks discussed from the standpoint of managing folder lists.. food for thought.
