Powerlink seems to be a division of EMC.

Shipping transit time approximately 7-10 business days, depending on your location

Wow.
Well, it does say the range is "Up to 2000 meters (Depending on surrounding environment)".

Similarly, I just about dropped a dookie in my pants when I read the title, however:

POWERLINK PL-APN Boost N 802.11b/g/n AP Router + 1W Amplifier/Booster 2in1 Combo High Power 1W, 28dBm w/High Gain Dual 5dBi Dipole Antenna Wireless Router w/4 Port Switch Transmit up to 2000 Meters Improving 6X Signal Reception and 7XSpeed

It's got a repeater/amplifier there. So that's why.

Customer reviews seem to suggest otherwise. One person complains he can't get a good signal from about 40 feet away. I wonder if maybe that person didn't enable the amplifier/booster? :-\

I haven't been able to find a user manual for this one online, so I am a little wary.

Anyway, I just bought a refurbished Linksys E1500 on ebay from $32.99 directly from Cisco. I think I'll be very pleased with it.
