Jaw drops...highly regarded third party equivalent to Adobe Acrobat for $9.95.  Have you or anyone dealt with wondershare before, I haven't heard of them, but maybe that's just me.

Wondershare is a trade company. I am not too sure they develop much themselves, but they offer a multitude of converters. AnyBizSoft is just one of their many co/sub-companies.

EDIT I think I had this mixed up with Nuance PDF Converter. Still looks like a good deal, but different feature set I think.

Yeah, the $100 Nuance at $10 would make a jaw drop. However, a program from Wondershare is usually not a "highly regarded third party, equivalent to Adobe Acrobat" - not even a $80 converter for $10 - so you probably confused the names.

Don't over-interpret me; the program's quality is just fine. Plain and simple, but okay.

Wondershare has apparently closed AnyBizSoft, and is re-launching their products under the Wondershare -name. However, the new "PRO" editor converter has clearly been further improved; it now includes OCR.

Pro's "normal price" is said to be $80, but today only it is merely $15.
A fine offer.

I merely purchased it, I don't actually use it, because it 'only' is a converter,
but I already have Nitro OCR Pro; converter and editor.

BTW, I had the chance to try it on a scanned English text, I used first the OCR integrated within Office, and there was many ill-recognized words, bur with this Wondershare application, it was perfect (only the first page was ocr'd in the demo version).
