I saw this one somewhere on dc yesterday  (I cant remember who used it), it has a nice startled chicken look about it

Unicode characters can make some pretty cute graphics, but I dunno if those should qualify as "normal" emoticons... they surely can't be used in every situation where "normal" (ASCII-based) emoticons can :)

Okay, so, many years ago I was using MSN Messenger and Yahoo! IM and I didn't like the stupid emoticon graphics that replaced the ASCII emoticons (though now that I think about it, I think DC uses the Y!IM graphics) so I changed my default smiley emoticon around:

Someone noticed that it looks kind of like Ziggyw, though not so much when I've made it bold and increased the font size.

For a while I stopped using IM and now I only use Google Talk so I've grown out of the habit of using the Ziggymoticon. :P
