I did not have the spare time to work on Filzip as much as I wanted to for the last years. I have received a lot of emails containing requests for new features that some of you want to have, and most of the time I could not even answer the emails, not to mention implementing these requests. Filzip fell behind its competitors and bugs did not get fixed.
I must say 7-Zip is the current best. It's FREE, fast, straightforward, and handle a lot of types. It's also available in a Portable version; I carry it on my thumbdrive just in case.PeaZip is cute and easy, probably better for the complete archive novice.-ed_cardinal (August 30, 2008, 12:47 PM)
