One thing needs to be said, UrlSnooper is really designed for the super sneaky sites that try to hide streaming media urls, and is probably best considered an advanced tool for power users.  It won't actually record streams for you, you need to use another program to do the actual recording.

What UrlSnooper does is find the hidden urls by actually scanning network traffic live as a streaming media file is loaded and played by any program.

nice find, cthorpe & congrats to mouser! it's a good thing that the mainstream rags are finding a place for DC software. the write-up is nicely balanced, they didn't just pigeonhole URL Snooper as a youtube downloader and i think the donation part was handled quite nicely.
