onOne Software, Inc., announces today the availability of its Liquid Resize product preview. Available for immediate download at http://www.ononesoft...are.com/liquidresize, onOne Software's new Liquid Resize software is a ground-breaking way to resize images using a technique known as "seam carving" to reduce the distortion that typically occurs when manipulating the aspect ratio of an image.
"Since acquiring Liquid Resize earlier this year, our engineering team has been hard at work developing what will become a new Photoshop® plug-in for photographers and graphic artists," said Craig Keudell, president of onOne Software. "We're looking forward to hearing what our customers have to say about this new image resizing tool that allows users to maintain the original aspect ratio of a digital image when they resize or adjust the composition of their images."
- however:
The product preview for Liquid Resize, the "content aware" image resizing application for Mac OS X and Windows is no longer available. We had previously intended to have released a final version of Liquid Resize as a Photoshop plugin by this time, however we have not been able to improve the speed and quality of Liquid Resize to the high quality standards that we hold ourselves to and those that our users have come to expect and deserve. At this time, there is no published release date for an updated preview or final release of Liquid Resize.-onOne Software
You can still get the last version that I know of, 0.67, from
