there was a post somewhere here (I'm sure it was dc) lately about a GUI for Robocopy -
I got the impression that the download included Robocopy but I could well have been wrong.
hehe.. i think that would be me.. ;D didn't notice that gui comes with robocopy as well..

another program to complement KatMouse would be CursorUS, just try it and you'll see why.. :)

CursorUS will allow your mouse cursor to move without interruption on reaching borders of the screen. Actual effect works by transfering pointer on opposite side.

you can also use this program - AHK-Icon-Changer, more info here..

This script helps to change the icons of compiled and uncompiled (!) scripts.
It also allows to set the fileinformations (Copyright, Version, Description, ...) for a compiled script (has to be compiled with AHK Icon Changer)... To take full advantage you have simply to create a folder named "Settings" in the Scripts folder.

saw this item at lifehacker.com - Find files on CDs with Robocopy snapshots..

robocopy-snapshot.jpg

a cool trick but one problem is that it uses Robocopy, which is a part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools (a 11.8MB download)..

i'm not an expert but wouldn't closing the laptop's lid put it into standby or some other power saving mode? :) btw, as jgpaiva suggested, do give Skrommel's IdleMute a try..

just curious, but does't Farr's and locate's functions overlap? :) but i think a plugin is the way to go, so at least one doesn't have to click on locate's search button..

With your reassurances I opened the file & it was a miniversion of GetRight that then downloaded the DMEX Bar.
if i'm not mistaken, Simtel downloads come with a GetRight mini-containers, probably to allow pause/resume.. :)

Find And Run Robot / Re: how do i.. with an alias?
« Last post by lanux128 on April 27, 2007, 05:54 AM »
keep in mind this will not work on your example of "eject e f" since it will only add one : at the end of the f
but you could solve this by making another ejectcd alias which matches 2 drive letters and adds a : to both, but that would require a separate regular expression alias.

thanks for the explanation, mouser.. so, how do i go about the alias that matches two drive letters?
