I want to know where was I a time ago. Completely.
Oh, you need complete time-tracking and reporting. I'm using the free version of ManicTime for that. I was pointed over there by a post in this forum, some time ago, and I've kept it running since then.
Works like a charm, non-intrusive, just what I need when I ask myself: What was I doing "yesterday between 13:00 and 13:30", or "today, 10 minutes ago"

2 1 remaining question:
- Why should this happen (what's the 'workflow')?
- How should it be triggered? Keyboard, timer, system-event?

I still have one question that hasn't been answered... and it's IMHO the first that should have been answered :-\
Please elaborate.

+1 what Stephen says.

How do you want to feel at the end of the day?

I will continue to make posts as it suits me ...
Oh, you can ofcourse, but next to no-one will be able to help you because your screenshots are so blurred, they're useless.

(1st time I've ever used the AHk "Progress" command ...)
Please attach any image to the forum using the forum posting tools, available after pressing the Preview button at the bottom of the Quick Reply area, or just press the Reply button at the bottom of the last message. It will result in a readable image, (when using 'inline thumb attachment' from the 'Link Inline Image' combo) instead of a still unreadable image, in an untrusted (by my browser) external domain.

And while you're at it, please create any screenshots in png format, and not crappy, obviously heavily compressed jpg. Our friend mouser's ScreenShotCaptor is just the tool for that.

TIA.

Oh, that's the default Quick-find feature I've come to love and like over the years  and isn't liminted to Shift+something, even just typing "something" does that quick-find thing :)

It can easily be disabled from the Extra/Options/Advanced/General settings page, second checkbox (dunno what your translation is, smt like "search for text when starting to type" (roughly translated from my localized FF :-[)

Firefox's Quick Find being activated whenever I use the Shift button.
What are you talking about???? Been using FF for 6+ years now, and not once has Shift ever lead me into any find-mode? Does some plug-in you're using add this feature?

That's what I'll be checking tomorrow...
Ok, it's tomorrow now :), and I tried PrtScr and Ctrl-PrtScr hotkeys (default key-mappings: Grab current Screen and Grab current Window) without any interaction with SSC after startup (only the systray context menu for hotkey reference), but I got no good capture from both (empty screen, no image saved). But no errormessages either.
Then pressed Shift-PrtScr for a Selected Region capture, and the selection and capture worked both as expected, without errors, giving a saved file in my capture store (default setting of saving the capture to disk).

what i need confirmation of is that the only thing that causes the error is a Selected Region capture.
I'd say that the answer is: No.

Seems like detecting the available screens after a 'system reconfiguration' isn't working right, until after some part of SSC is actually (re)initializing those parameters. Or maybe the 'DisplaysHazChanged' call-back event isn't set up properly

AMDER was updated to version 1.3.0.0.
Added optional Multi-select on the File/Open dialog, to enable selecting a specific set of .csv files for importing. (feature requested by Saira on irc)
If enabled, and a set of files is selected, only the .csv files are imported if at least 1 .csv file is in the selection, else only the first .xls(x) file is read. (Other file-types are still ignored)

Download available from the first post in this thread.

can anyone else confirm that this is true for them too?

+1 here.
I leave my work-PC on over-night, and just turn off the 2 Display-Port connected monitors. They seem to reset the display settings quite rigorously, because any window left open when turning off the monitors is resized to something like 640x480, and into the primary monitor's left-top position.
I tested with Selected region this morning, and it error-ed out. After clicking away the messages, it worked fine in selecting and making the screenshot.
I'll test again tomorrow, creating a full-screen screenshot and then try Selected region, got too many windows open now that I don't want to fix resizing on (can't close 'm either), to turn off the monitors right now :-[

AMDER was updated to version 1.2.3.0. Relaxed the parsing of page numbers for 'missing dialogue' and '(song)' entries to be either just numeric, or prefixed by p, pg, pgn, pgo, pgno, pn, pno or po.

ScreenShotCaptor does have a nice Scanner option, you just have to enable it from preferences, and probably set some options to your likings.
