Quick answer from a C++ coder. Given your desire to focus on GUI stuff, I think C# would be a better choice than C++.
C++ is great for people who need to squeeze out maximum speed, but really wasn't designed for GUI stuff, and it shows. C# has more modern elements and is much more friendly to GUI development.

I came to the conclusion a while ago that giveaways and things are just not fun for me to organize and deal with.. and as for my youtube channel, im just playing boardgames that I enjoy, I don't want to film stuff just to get viewers. I got in line for the stream desk on the chance that there might be some non-game use for the hardware at some point, or some vr gaming developments.
Yeah it's due to missing that you need to install my shared adobe extension helper library available on same github download page. I've added more clear instructions about that.

Does anyone have a thought about whether I should follow through and buy this stream deck if I don't care about gaming? My initial thought was that it was just such a cool piece of hardware that I might do some fun coding for it (possibly coding games), or doing some custom electronics hacking, etc. But I haven't really given it much thought.

I don't know if anyone has experienced any errors printing, but I discovered that my new color laser occasionally gets mad that Screenshot Captor is not setting a title for print jobs. I'll upload a new version this week with a bugfix. -jesse
