I ran CCleaner 2.0 beta and it SEEMS to have caused issues with a fine piece of software called LaunchBar Commander (1.60.06).  When I try use a Menu Node Type to display a list of files in a folder and click on an item, I get an error message: "ERROR: could not launch quickdoclauncher..."

Has anyone else encountered this?

PS reinstalling LaunchBar Commander solved the issue

Screenshot Captor / Bug: copying an image from SC main window uing Ctrl C shortcut

Hi,
Sometimes when I have an image in the main screen captor window and I wish to copy it using the shortcut (Ctrl C) it doesn't work.  If I use the menu Edit->Comopy Image/Object to Clipboard (Ctrl C) it works just fine.  I have already selected the complete image before I use Ctrl C.

Hi Mouser,

I use LBC (ver 160.06) to launch a shortcut that relies on a particular drive to be mapped. If the drive isn't mapped nothing happens and you get no error message.  Can this be changed?

I've being using EditPadPro for years and I find it great. I too beta tested the latest version and got no discount, oh well.

What I do like though is that the author Jan, listens to your requests and more often than not, you'll find them incorporated in the next release.

Its free and it helps give you a visual rating of what it considers shouldn't be in your startup (don't ask me on what basis).

Hi Mouser,

If they copy to clipboard but don't autosave can be configured to be my choice of copy (preferences) i.e. entire screen, current windows, selection, active window... that would be great.

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else would find this useful, but...

Could a keyboard combination be set to capture an image, but not autosave it to disk?  I only need to save about 20% of my screenshots to disk and I'd prefer not go have to go in and out of preferences each time (yep, I'm lazy).

Am I making sense or rambling and need to go home?

Hi,

I've installed 2.31.01 beta and I've noticed a minor bug (it may exist in previous versions):

If you capture an image that is too big to fit in the screen and press Ctrl A to select the whole image it only selects the first 4/5 of the image.

The image I used fits by height but not by width and so the complete height is selected but only the first 4/5 of the width is selected.

Does this make sense and do others get this issue?

Most nights I put my PC into hibernate and I know it screws up some programs (those that seem to reply on a network connection).  I'm use version 2.21.01 and it doesn't seem to happen as frequent as before.

I've just saved the image as JPG and opened it IrFanView and its fine.  I then opened the PNG format image from Word and it opened fine (but not from IrfanView). It may be an issue with copying/pasting and maybe IrfranView doesn't automatically use transparencies? Ah sure not to worry!

I've just pasted the image into IrfanView (ver. 3.98) and its also showing the bottom right corner. I then tried to open the file from within IrfanView and its still the same (this was to avoid any possible problems with copying/pasting being the culprit).

Hi,

I captured a screenshot and applied a frame (RaggedBR2.png) to it, saved it (PNG format) and it still appears fine in ScreenCaptor.

Then I copied it and after pasting it into Lotus Notes (ver. 6.0) or Microsoft Word 2003 the image appears complete but with a jagged line through it, while it should have the lower right of the image missing.

Is this my misunderstanding of how this should work?

Hi, when invoking a shortcut (Ctrl Printscreen) to do a screen print, I regularly get
Access Violation errors and I end up having to close ScreenCaptor (2.15.01) and all is well for while.  I am running this in Windows XP Professional SP2.

Has anyone any ideas?
