The Review of ThinkFree Office was Unfair

Your review of ThinkFree Office was unfair. you blaimed the fact that it was written in java for making it slow. Java has nothing at all to do with the fact that it is is slow. The fact that it has to access a Web service to load and save documents is the problem.

Please try the standalone (non-applet) version of ThinkFree Office. It is written in Java as well, but is very fast and responsive. Much faster and more response than OpenOffice for example. It is my word processor of choice since it runs on all my platforms, (Windows, Linux, and OS X) and looks great on all of them.

Again, try the standalone version please. And I suspect you will not be able to make the claims you did about it being slow and such.

I know zaine will be interested in reading this -- it's impossible to do a big review like this without making revisions and so it's not unreasonable to expect their might be modifications as more people post their insights and comments.  So keep the critiques coming!
