I am still having problems with thumbnails not being shown properly.

Strangely I am having the same problem with version 1.2.7 now.

Obviously something odd is happening at my end.

In Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options I have checked "Don't cache thumbnails", but that hasn't made a difference.

Thumbnails in Windows Explorer are working fine - which is strange because SC seems to use the Windows Explorer engine to  display the thumbnails ???

Any ideas ??? :wallbash:

are all thumbnails showing strangely?
or just certain kinds?

i woudln't stress it too much for now, i'm going to try to replace that component in the near future.

Here is an example. All the captures are PNG format. Note that two of the thumbnails (including the one selected) show the Windows Explorer thumbnail of the parent folder !!!

if you go into the thumbnail explorer panel and hit F5 does it make any difference?

No.

I just find it strange that some thumbnails ar correct and others aren't ???

The other odd thing is that when the thumbnails are being drawn (ie. during the thumbnail refresh process) they are all drawn correctly, but at the end of the refresh some of them flip to incorrect thumbs.

now that is strange..
the only reason im not responding more robustly to the report of these issues is because i've just about resigned myself to replacing that thumbnail file browsing component with another.

but it is very strange that it seems its starting to act up now and was working before?
