hotkey handling
« on: November 13, 2006, 02:41 AM »
I'm still using menuapp as my prime launcher, but keep a keen eye on LC for some time now. Both tools are designed for power users who value efficiency over eye candy, but menuapp is beginning to show its limitations. Now there's one thing I hope it will turn to the "right" direction and that's hotkey handling. As a heavy keyboard user this feature has my special interest. I know it's on the to-do list, but currently it's already possible to assign a hotkey per menu. But there's no way to include the win-key. Reason for liking this key is that it hardly interferes with other applications. You know combinations like Ctrl, Ctrl+Alt, etc. are often used in applications.
Any chance you will include the win-key as modifier?

hotkey support is being added as we speak (and includes support for winkey).
