Time to gripe about slow, high-bandwidth websites
« on: July 23, 2005, 08:27 PM »
Though I'm not a big fan of CNET.com, I do visit once or twice a week to see what's new. But now with their latest site redesign, it has to be one of the worst and slowest online, comparable so ESPN.com or CNN/MSNBC/FAUX.com network sites. Do I really need a video "telling me" that Cnet has discovered a new gadget this week? (Mind you, I'm not innocent. My own site is slow in places, but only because I load up on nice, fat .png images for screenshots.)

Yeah, I've seen some of your "nice, fat .png images".  And you're excused.
