It's better to just attach the images directly to your post rather than embedding external images. We have a lot of old posts here that had embedded external images from various image hosting sites which eventually deleted or moved the images after some time, so now the images are 404. :(


As for your entry: This looks useful for backing up photos online without having to worry about revealing GPS metadata, AI/LLM scraping, etc.

I'd like to add MySQL as an option so you can store the photos on a remote server, making backups a little easier.
