Unlock used files on the fly, in the background
« on: July 26, 2024, 04:41 PM »
There are mnay tools like file locksmith or ecmo unlockit that unlock used files but you need to click several times to activate the program and file to unlock it. Im wondering if its possible to create a driver or something,  that automatically unlock the file in the background, kind of what anydvd did with dvds, it unscamrbled them in the background and let you know when it was done.

Hello dear friend, did you consider the option of macro/automation?

If a program is already working and doing a good job, but only the start-up clicks are the hassle, perhaps this can be a solution.

Im wondering if its possible to create a driver or something,  that automatically unlock the file in the background

Of course it's possible :)

The "core" of the programs you mentioned can certainly be cloned for background running by putting some work on it

As a nearly fulltime Windows user (software developer), I never have to deal with locked files, so I'm quite curious what you do that you need such tool?

Windows R & D 🤣 such as removing wrp /windows defender and some other stuff as I come across it.
This is what I'm trying to achieve.
