Error after closing and when opening

Hello guys,

i have a problem with application "Find and Run Robot". The same problem/error appears when closing the application and opening it

Failed to delete previous temp file
DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot\FindAndRunRobot.ini.tmp.

After click "ok" following appear and this error

Error: could not write temporary file
'DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot\FindAndRunRobot.ini.tmp' for saving.

I have windows 11.

Can someone help me with this?

Could it be the case that you (1) downloaded the portable version and (2) put it somewhere that is write-protected e.g. the Program folder?

No, I'm 100% sure that haven't downloaded the portable version.

The folder path is the system default, in the folder C:\Program Files (x86). I will should try on a different path (outside from system default), is that what you mean?

If it's not the portable version it should work. Maybe see what mouser says.

And me, I was impressed that I have this problem. I am using this app for several years on Windows 10 without any problems. Now that I'm on windows 11 I have this problem.

Did you upgrade to Windows 11 through windows update in Windows 10 or did you install Windows 11 fresh from an ISO image?
I'm just asking so there's more information when mouser looks into this issue. I myself am on Windows 10 so can't reproduce it.

It's basically a new pc and fresh os (windows 11). I tried to change fron the config the path where all the data of the program is stored and it seems that it worked.

For some reason, it was trying to create paths through OneDrive, which I don't use, but I have it completely uninstalled from the PC. It is strange.

mouser's apps use the DonationCoder folder in the Documents folder. Now it seems to be having trouble writing to that directory -- do you use the Documents folder?

I came across this article -- could it be related?

Not sure what the cause of that is, but sounds similar to this 2019 issue where FARR gave similar error message due to a network path, https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=47759.0
