Record video with the video camera of my laptop

How can I record a video with the camera of my laptop HP.
Not for sending via web, as a webcam. saving the video to my pc. Like preparing a speech or presentation.

I change browser to Brave and gives me good result. I print to pdf the instructions and will comment.

Another question I am imagining is :

While I record a video of myself with the webcam be able to speak about what I am recording in the screen display.
I suppose this is the pip method for later put the video with the teacher explaining while the screen show the lesson...

 

How can I do that ?

As usual I would like to know if you have tried with good results.
Everyone in this forum, even me, is able to search in google.

If you are able to search with google, then why haven't you to get the results and tried them? Then you could report back with any problems you have. You come to us with just a problem statement (and sometimes not that much of one) and then are dissatisfied with what that bare question gets you.

I observ that the recording is stopped when the video screen is minimized.
How can I continue the recording even with the screen minimized ?
