Has anyone used BlueCon enough to  have an opinion on it?

I used bluecon admin a lot when I was working as a sysadmin. (until I retired)
I had gotten my employer to buy a corporate license copy.

 When O&O started having random 90% sales like this one a few years back,
I bought a personal copy for home use.


It has several useful utilities. Details here Bluecon details link

You can create a bootable disk and boot off a flash drive, or create an iso file for burning onto optical media. To make a bootable DVD.
Booting bluecon from a flash drive gives you access to some windows files/folders you couldn't otherwise change if the blue con utility was launched from within a computer, while running from within windows.

I used it for file recovery.
For local system password resets.
For Partition mgmt. Creating and modifying partitions.


Side note: I also use the ACTIVE@ set of tools for windows. They are made by lsoft.net.ACTIVE@ products
The Active@ Data Studio product is a similar type of utilities product to O&O bluecon.

I like and use, O&O bluecon enough that I keep updated and still use (both software products), for my personal home use.
