Question on license
« on: August 16, 2006, 10:04 AM »
1) This program is pretty good, nice job.

2) Is this program free for business use?

3) Can I use the same license key for everyone?

4) If not, does that mean I have to get everyone to donate to get a permanent license?

Techincally our software is free/donationware for personal use, but we welcome business customers, and we are happy to issue site-wide business licenses.

For site-wide business licenses, I generally ask for $25, plus $1 to $2 per computer that would be using the program, depending on the number of licenses (figure anything < 100 users would be $2 per license).

(You dont need each user to enter their own license code, a simply file in the program directory will make the program and any future versions licensed forever.  We can provide a custom installer for large orders).

We are happy to provide some special support for business licensees, and are happy to discuss adding custom features, etc. and provide a formal contract.

Feel free to email me to discuss further: [email protected]
