IDEA: Purposeful Spamifier
« on: August 08, 2006, 05:15 AM »
Ok here is my brilliant idea for today:

Let's say you have to email someone but you really don't want to because you don't want them to get back in touch with you or because when they receive your email they are going to ask you to do something you dont want to do, but for whatever reason you are obligated to contact them.

So my idea is make a program that tries to make your email look like spam so that it will get captured and filtered out by their spam protection software.

For example, it might add a paragraph at the end of your message about viagra or penny stocks, etc.

That way when the person contacts you saying "why didn't you invite me to the party this weekend!!!"
you can say "I did, I sent you an email about it on friday and you were so rude as to not reply!"

If you made it an HTML message you could even hide the offending parts of the message so that if your friend does spot it in the spam folder they won't be suspicious.

By the way "why didn't you invite me to the party this weekend!!!"

Haha, technology helps us with all our unpleasant little daily chores! This reminds me a lot of the "document corrupter" posted recently.
