taskbar questin

i'm very new to using this program,but it looks perfect for my needs,my one question (at the moment) is there any way to start the program and keep in just in the taskbar down in the corner,and not as a floating dock? thanks in advance

For me I have it set to start with windows and I click the X on the bar to minimize to the taskbar, this minimized state is remembered.

LBC should be very happy to start minimized to the taskbar, but as I think was rgdot was suggesting, the trick is simply that it will remember it was minimized to the tray, so just start it once, minimize it to tray, and in the future it should always startup minimized to the tray.
